2nd Street Shimokitazawa
“The big chain's branded-resale floor; for vintage, walk on to its newer East Exit shop.”
Japan's biggest resale chain, on the second floor of Fine Court, three minutes from the station. This branch sells branded second-hand: recent Japanese and designer clothing, sneakers, bags, and it buys gold and jewellery as a speciality. Rails start around ¥500.
Regulars say it prices a little higher than suburban 2nd Streets and the selection is smaller. Use it for a quick designer-rack check, not a dig. If you want old clothes, 2nd Street opened a vintage-only East Exit shop in March 2026 at Kitazawa 2-34-3. Tax-free with a passport, but check your receipt before you leave.
Brand collections
- 2000s

Reviewers find Air Max and other sneakers here; check midsoles and glue lines, the parts that fail first on older pairs.
- 2010s

The designer rack's regular; the recent Japanese mainline and Play pieces come in through local buy-ins.

Pleated pieces arrive in good shape because the pleating is heat-set; pay for condition of the fabric, not the label.
