VINIVINI LUXE Daikanyama

c. 1970 – 2010Clothing

“Grown-up womenswear vintage: Max Mara tailoring, old Celine silk, 80s YSL, from about ¥10,000 to ¥80,000.”

The 2013 second shop of Vini vini, which has been importing vintage to Daikanyama since 1995. The brief is 'new mixture vintage': old pieces that look current, plus newer things that will age into vintage. Read: Max Mara tweed and check jackets with real Italian tailoring, old Celine silk shirts, Issey Miyake pleats, 90s Versace Jeans Couture, deadstock Dior earrings, Brighton concho belts.

Prices are a notch over Harajuku, fair for the condition: jackets around ¥60,000, silk shirts under ¥40,000, costume jewellery around ¥15,000. Closed Thursdays. Vini vini, the original, is a short walk away at 12-19 Daikanyamacho.
