VINTAGE QOO TOKYO Omotesando
“Three floors since 2013: a 2,000-piece Chanel basement, 500-plus LV, and deep designer ready-to-wear.”
Three floors in the Colonnade building, two minutes from Omotesando Station, around 6,000 pieces, open since 2013. The basement is Chanel only, about 2,000 pieces: 90s to early-2000s matelassé and a room of Gripoix jewellery, the poured glass that made Chanel costume pieces worth keeping. Street level is Louis Vuitton, over 500 Monogram and Damier, then Fendi, Dior, Gucci and Burberry at the back. Upstairs, Hermès Birkins and Kellys and watches from Cartier, Rolex and Omega.
The clothes are the sleeper: men's trenches, waistcoats, silk ties. Tax-free. Go before 2pm, it fills up.
